The Kinematica Polytron PT-MR 10-35 GT is a homogenizer with a support stand package that includes a drive unit holder, a vessel holder, a safety positioning ring, and is suitable for use in homogenizing material such as plant and animal tissue. This digital unit has electronic speed control that manages speed levels of 500rpm to 30,000rpm and adjusts to changes in viscosity. It can handle volumes from 0.1mL to 10L (water) for varied sample processing. The LED screen displays the speed and has a turning knob for speed adjustment. The 1,200W motor has insulated housing to reduce noise level to a maximum of 75dbA at 30,000rpm, a thermal fuse for overload protection, and a soft start to reduce splashing. This unit includes RS232 interface capability for connecting to a PC. The included ST-P10/600 support stand package has a plate stand allowing hands-free operation. The drive unit is fixed on the plate stand with a safety positioning ring to prevent uncontrolled movement, and a boss head allows the drive unit to rotate horizontally. The vessel holder keeps the dispersing vessel in place during homogenization.
